Taking off from the discussions on the outdoor air purifiers and the need to closely look at the results of these devices, we'd need good ambient AQ information.
For AQ monitoring stations, I think we drastically need to come-up with a new guide on what type of monitoring stations, where it should be put up, the pros and cons of focusing on roadside monitoring versus ambient air quality monitoring, etc...
Also, an overview of the costs and specs of these AQ monitoring stations is also very important. There have been several requests to us in the past to provide information on these issues but we don't have the overview. I think one of the reasons why India has an extensive monitoring stations these days is that they were able to develop a local industry on this and have been able to fully design, operate, and maintain these AQ stations themselves, like Envirotech India.
