The 7th Air Quality Management City Workshop of CAI-Asia China Network, with theme "Clean Air Action Planning and City Clean Air Reporting" was held on 30 June to 1 July 2011 in Dalian.
The workshop is targeted to participants from the 13 Chinese cities in CAI-Asia China Network and aims to enhance their capacity for clean air planning and implementation and clean air reporting.
Representatives from the 13 Chinese cities shared their experiences on preparation of clean air action plans (and similar work) and updates on their air quality management activities.
Participants included representatives from the 14 Chinese cities (13 CAI-Asia City members and Shanghai representatives), MEP representatives and international experts.
This workshop was jointly organized by the Foreign Economic Cooperation Office (FECO) of Ministry of Environment of China (MEP) with CAI-Asia as the partner and with support from Energy Foundation through the Project “Making Co-benefits Work in Chinese Cities: Clean Air Reports and Action Plans."
