Hello. I am here to just introduce to the world's clean air initiative program a new design of chimney cowl that has been successful on old and new wood stoves/ heaters at reducing smoke particulate emissions to zero or very close to. It came about due to new certified wood burners not performing in typical winter conditions. They have been causing health concerns to those who have been forced to purchase them. Smoke is coming into the room when the door is opened, ceilings becoming sooted, sluggish heat output etc. Arguably the very main issue causing a poor performing, smoky wood burner in the first place is due to the air conditions above the chimney flue. The dilution tunnel test used does not account for adverse atmospheric conditions and only tests the firebox appliance in controlled optimum conditions. They called the problem in America the Florida Bungalow Syndrome, suggesting that the fires passed were only passed in the optimum summer climate. In New Zealand we are seeing this and consumers are dismayed at the expense the laws have caused them with effects that are worse than they had with their older burners. So my father Neville D'Herville has designed a clever cowl/ triple combuster that really works. Please have a look and see what u think at www.fluecube.com
Thank you
Jeremy D'Herville
